Ultra low-cost airlines offer the lowest fares possible by keeping costs low and passing on savings to our customers. Cost savings are driven by running a very efficient network and operations and providing a “no-frills” fare model. We empower customers to build trips based on their needs, so you pay for what you need, not what you don't. The one thing we never compromise on is safety. Every dollar we save is a dollar of savings we pass on to you.

Why are your flights so much cheaper?

Our fares are fair because we’re obsessed with finding ways to save you money! With Flair, you create your own experience, completely unbundled. If you need to add bags or upgrade your seat, you can for a fee. We let you take charge instead of bundling everything (including things you don't want to pay for!) as traditional airlines do.

Why do I have to pay for my bags?

Our fares are unbundled, so you pay only for what you need, not what you don’t. We charge for bags because we don’t include them in our fares like other airlines do. This means you don’t need to pay for things you don’t want. We also offer convenient bundles to help you save even more by bundling popular products to enhance your experience with us.

Why do I need to size my bag at the airport?

We size all bags, including Carry-ons, at the airport check-in desk. This ensures smooth operations at the boarding gate so we can board as efficiently as possible! Our baggage sizes comply with Transport Canada regulations, and we adhere to them to ensure space for everyone’s bags on board.

Why don’t your seats recline?

Little known secret – our seats are pre-reclined for your comfort! We’re all about finding creative and innovative ways to reduce weight on our aircraft, which in turn, reduces our fuel costs. We do that by removing the heavy reclining mechanisms on our seats. That’s more savings for you!

Do you offer food and drinks on board?

Pack your appetite! We proudly offer a selection of locally sourced food and beverage options for purchase onboard. Our menu has been curated to reflect our commitment to local sustainability and quality. As part of our unbundled model, we don’t offer complimentary drinks or snacks, so you can choose to add a drink or a snack to your experience. If you’re not hungry, why should your ticket include the cost of food?

All items are available for purchase, and we only accept Visa and MasterCard credit cards in physical format or via most smart wallet platforms. Please note we do not accept debit, debit credit cards, pre-paid credit cards or cash. Refunds can only be processed with physical card.


Can I take my skis? My hockey sticks? My golf bag?

Absolutely. You can check your oversized bags. Simply select the sporting equipment you want to add when booking your flight or through Manage My Booking . Fees vary depending on your destination.

Additionally, booking directly means you’ll be the first to hear the latest updates on your flight, manage your reservation online, and access additional flight protection products only available from flyflair.com.

How can I manage my reservation?

To add baggage, select seats, and review your reservation, visit Manage My Booking . Purchase your carry-on and checked bags online to access the lowest fees. Please note that any changes made to your reservation are subject to a change fee and cancellations are subject to a cancellation fee.

How can I check my flight status?

We regularly update our website with the most up-to-date flight cancellations and delays information. Visit Flight Status to check the status of your flight.

What payment options do you offer?

You can pay with Visa Debit and all major credit cards. We also offer the option to buy now and pay later with Flex Pay. Choose Flex Pay as your payment method to spread the cost of your trip over low monthly payments.

I didn’t receive a mobile boarding pass after checking in. Why?

This happens if you haven’t added bags or a bundle to your reservation since we need to verify your baggage complies with our baggage policy. You’ll need to go to the check-in counter at the airport to size your bag and pick up your boarding pass. You still must check-in online to avoid the airport check-in fee.


Why do you charge an airport check-in fee and call centre fee?

As part of our unbundled model, we charge a $25 airport check-in fee for a service that can be completed by a customer online or on our mobile app. If you need additional help and would like to chat with an agent, you can add this service by paying this fee. Similarly, our call centre fee applies for services a customer can complete on Manage My Booking or through our chatbot.
