Note: Pets can travel only on flights within Canada. They must be at least 12 weeks old and fully weaned to board.

Bringing your pet along? Small dogs or cats can fly in the cabin with you for a fee. Just follow these guidelines to keep them (and fellow customers) comfortable:

• Pet Carrier Requirements: Soft-sided, airline-approved, leak-proof, and ventilated.
• Max dimensions: 41cm x 23cm x 25cm (16" x 9" x 10") and max weight: 23 lbs, including the carrier.
• Seating Restrictions: Pets cannot travel with unaccompanied minors, passengers seated in exit or bulkhead rows, or passengers requiring a medical device that needs to be stowed under the seat.
• Booking Requirements: Add your pet to your reservation at least 48 hours before departure.
• Fees: $79 + tax online, $99 + tax at the airport.

Behaviour Guidelines

If a pet is not under the care and control of the handler or exhibits disruptive or inappropriate behaviours, Flair may refuse transport. Some of these include but are not limited to:

· Barking, growling, or biting

· Jumping on people

· Urinating or defecating in unapproved areas

· Causing significant disruption

Flair may charge passengers for the cost of repairing any damages caused by their dog, including any messes caused if the dog relieves itself on the aircraft.

Some government bodies require documentation to transport animals in and out of their country. As requirements can change without notice, we recommend that passengers do their own research on what documents are required for their destination. Failure to provide the required documentation can result in the passengers being refused entry, the animal being seized and/or quarantined, and, in extreme cases, euthanized.
